What is Polypropylene Homopolymer?

Polypropylene Homopolymer (PPH) is a lightweight, rigid thermoplastic with excellent chemical resistance, high tensile strength, and good processability. It has a higher stiffness compared to polypropylene copolymer, making it ideal for applications requiring structural integrity and resistance to deformation.

Common Applications

PPH is widely used in rigid packaging, automotive components, household goods, and industrial applications. It is commonly found in containers, pipes, caps and closures, and appliance housings. Filled grades enhance the material’s performance for demanding applications.

Our Polypropylene Homopolymer Products

We stock a range of PPH grades suitable for injection moulding, including:

Prime PPH

Natural grade MFI 20, packed in 25kg bags.

Powdered PPH

Pulverised to 1200μm, packed in 20kg bags.

Talc-Filled PPH

20% Talc-Filled, for increased stiffness, improved heat resistance, and reduced moulding shrinkage.

Glass-Filled PPH
